Super Meat Boy was not made in Flash. Its art assets were done in Flash but the game itself was not.

    Presumably in reference to this.

That's Meat Boy vs. Super Meat Boy. A difference, a pedantic one (repeatedly mentioned by both Ed McMillen and Tommy Refenes) but a difference all the same.

Any word if IndieGala are providing steam keys for Always Remember me? Not that it's a big concern if it isn't, I just like everything to be on steam where possible.

Keys are available through your desura collection, according to the devs:

    http://www.desura.com/collection

^F Always Remember Me click on Keys and if everything's alright, one of them buttons should read Steam.

Sentinel (IR Starry Nights) appeared on Steam today - keys are on IR already (NOT in your Desura collection tho)

It's rather good - from the same chap who did Hexcells those this is 'trance tower defense'.

Also - I'm not sure if this is the place to ask but re: my "game manager" project, I need to find a decent database of games which have been in bundles.

The Indie Wiki (I'm not supposed to mention here, ALMS hates me for doing that) isn't really structured well enough and so I sort-of started making a JSON-based bundle list - but then I remembered that ALMS had a database and wondering if we couldn't get some sort of collaboration goiing - online - to maintain that?

    I'm thinking simple

Bundle Source (e.g. Indie Royale or Humble or whatever)
    Bundle Name
BYO? (is it a build your own - e.g. do you choose content?)

and then for each game in the bundle
    Game Name
    Steam?
    Desura?
    DRM-Free?
    Linux?
    Mac?
BTA? (whether it's an optional title - e.g. not everyone may have received it?)

The code I've already created will handle things like 'slightly different names' for games (e.g. GoTY, Gold, Platinum or just misspellings or not including 'The' etc.) - but do people think a database of this sort can be crowdsourced?

Nah. Not without something 'tangible' as result. A public wiki qualifies, a JSON file doesn't.

On the other hand, scraping a wiki ought to be feasible...

Only if it contained the info you wanted - which that one doesn't.

Which info do you need then?

The RepeatDB is not a real database, just a spreadsheet. Once or twice I set out to upgrade it to a relational database then I found out that the place where my memories about such things were stored, is now occupied by a big blank.

RDB's are deader than Elvis - just make a NOSQL thingy - use JSON - save me loads of work ;0

See above for what we need really - the hardest thing to pin-down (tends not to be easily 'scraped' from anywhere) are things like DRM-freeness and BTA tiers...

Ideally it all gets crammed into a single JSON and people then just look at the list of bundles and say "I own that one and that one and those 2" and games MAGICALLY appear in their collections - games they might even have forgotten they owned!!

But how then would Alms tease us with guessing what is the currently most bundled game?

I'd forgotten about that. Additions might actually push me over the fence I was sitting on previously.
