RPS Guild for Guild Wars 2?

I motion that we keep the guild banner as in beta, except avec le unicorn rapant.

I did take a straw poll of people on mumble last night and the unanimous decision (your opinion counts for nothing, John) was we like unicorns, unless there was an actual bear.

I do like the rampant unicorn and was considering more closely aligning the colour scheme with the site, so lets give that a whirl

Hmm, I am not so much a fan of that symbol, myself. Mostly its the way the two colours are split that makes the secondary part look dettached and a little illegible. If the two colours chosen are close though (like white primary, light grey secondary) or even the same, it would look okay though:

I agree with the weird choice on how the colours are split and honestly I would just use white or light grey for both with a red/maroon background of some kind

I have a GTX570 and shadows are what kill my FPS in this game, I always have to turn them down to Medium. Anyone else find that?

(EDIT: Also I heard there is a new nVidia beta driver due to come out this week that has some specific gains for Guild Wars 2, especially the 500 and 600 series, which should be nice.)

I've not had issues with shadows, in fact I'm sad that the "High" option is so low. I can visibly see the cascade seams...

I'm also bummed that Crossfire doesn't seem to be helping with performance much. There's a slight performance increase, but nothing to write home about, and that's with two 6950s 2GB.

So there was suddenly a stress test in the middle of the night. It only last an hour and they wiped all characters beforehand, but they unlocked all the zones in the game!!

I found this when trying to post those images yesterday. Something is up with this subforum's permissions, I think?

Also I have it on good authority (*cough* reddit) that charr characters wearing the Citadel of Flame armour (at least the light one) have a burning tails too!

Can't wait to see what other particle effects await us on these fancy items.

A heads up that they've changed how to collect Hall of Monuments rewards ingame:

You get a portal stone when you create a new character which can teleport you to eye of the north to collect them and then return you. Previously they were planning for players to go to their home instance in capital city to collect them.
