Firefall would be much nicer if it didn't lag as much as it does.
Not like I'm goind to play anymore it as soon as I get a spot on Planetside's 2 Beta, of course.
Bah! My blog is fulla bollox! What? Don't believe me?Here! Just look at it!
Tried Mini Ninjas,no challenge at all, uninteresting levels, and bunch of other bad crap, kinda strange Eidos even went to make this kinda game after Hitman and kane & lynch series.

Having an illegal amount of fun with 50 Cent: Blood On The Sand. It's a lot like The Club - a very fast paced shooter with tons of enemies, unlockables and an endless stream of challenges and bonuses. The story is ridiculous in a good and the dialogues are pure gold.
There's a swear button and you can buy more swear packs with money you earn in game. The more profane they are, the more expensive they get. Brilliant.

Coincidently, I tried Mini Ninjas too last week. I thought the levels looked quite nice aesthetically, but that the game mechanics were just... shit. Stealth never really worked very well, and it feels like they knew it so they just made the combat as easy as possible by M1 spamming most of the time, while hits never really felt like they had impact. To make matters worse movement felt strangely floaty (perhaps issue in porting?).
Its a shame really; I did feel like there were some very cool ideas there. Sailing my hat boat was a brilliant idea, a good range of spells and abilities, the differing abilities of the different characters (I only managed to use 4 unfortunately) were all cool in theory, but failed to live up to my expectations.
Nicely written men,i totally agree. There was potential but they fucked it up,now if they decide to make sequel,it would be nice to make a little more challenging,i mean quite more haha :D

I enjoyed what I played of mini ninjas. Swapping up the powers on the fly, stealthing about then barraging ranged attacks, finishing off with stabby time.

Currently playing TOME4 aka "Tales Maj'Eyal"
Pretty much the most addicting game experience I've had in the last 5 years. The amount of content and depth coupled with a very well designed UI and a huge diversity of classes just makes it pure gaming goodness.
Oh ya, and it's a roguelike so it's an actual challenge ;). Playing this makes me realize how easy and frankly boring most "AAA" modern games are.
I've reached a part in Darksiders 2 where the momentum has slowed down. The last section was pretty poor too and I'm sure it's got absolutely nothing to do with it being linear. Actually, there seems to be something off about the whole game compared to the first. Not necessarily in a bad way, but it gives off this whole different vibe. Fair enough, there's an entirely different setting and main character, but...the feel of it. It's still a great game, but there's something about Darksiders 1 that was done better and of course, many things that 2 has so far improved upon.
I'm still with Darksiders 1, and I love it, so... Hope the second one doesn't dissapoint me.
nope, finished the final level in my first genuine try. The first time i played it i was just "playing with the void trap", the key was making I diagonal barricade like so
It made the level pathetically easy. Only make one like this, it essentially means that 1 main entrance (and later a backup door) have to do a full lap of the level to get to their core. So, you only need to build 1 death zone near the guys who don't do a lap and both will pass it. Additionally you'll need to throw a few archers in on the rifts to kill the birds, but that's pretty trivial.

And that's Saints Row: The Third finished again. Worlds better on PC, despite not having pressure-sensitive controls. The DLC missions were pretty underwhelming, though The Trouble With Clones, randomly chosen to play last, made for a surprisingly fitting coda. I may well end up finishing up the leftover activities, but like with (seemingly) every open-world game I play, there's a definite feeling of being at the bar after everyone else has gone home, once the story's over. Perhaps justly, since I played it for...50 hours? That can't be right. I think I might need a life coach.
I'm looking forward to hitting the Hellgate beta tomorrow.
Otherwise, the usual hourly sessions of TF2 or L4D2.

I never knew Dwarves would screw like rabbits! Already 17 born and more are coming. The mothers aren't feeding them right, though. Two died of thirst.

Still playing Half Life 2. Got the bug-bait just recently and finally starting to enjoy the game. The platforming parts are not so nice, but luckily there are not too many of those. Impressed all the time on the level design how I always seem to be going to correct direction, even if the levels feels quite big at times.
Also since Gotham City Impostors went F2P decided finally give it a try. Managed to sink 10h to it this weekend. And even chipped in for the first booster pack. Still getting my ass kicked, but at least I am having fun. Need to find a better primary weapon since I am not really enjoying the rifle I am using (unlocked all 3). So far shotgun and rollerskates are my goto it seems. Maybe give that massive LMG a shot.
Botanicula, about half way through and game feels maybe bit too much like pixelhunting. Of course the game is charming as hell, still prefer Samorost 1/2.
Lastly gotten about half way through on Soulcaster 2. Need to play the 360 version since the one from Desura doesn't work for some reason. Didn't have time to troubleshoot and already happened to own these on XLIG's. The levels here seem better designed than on the first game. Was expecting the music to be chiptune on these, but no. Kind of like 80;s rock/midi, just as awesome chiptune had been. :)
Ah, shit. I'm gonna need to know how the hospital works in DF. I think I got a guy still resting on his bed in his room after more than a coupla seasons. He has some broken bones, maybe? And I know I got a few others as well, broken bones and all.
