Fez was lovely. Far Cry 3 is finally done (30 hours) and I dearly wish I had just waited for Blood Dragon instead. I got my 2nd and 3rd wins of Conquest of Elysium 3. My DOTA 2 record is now 200-200.

Completed a run of Organ Trail: Director's Cut. It was nice for the couple hours it lasted, but picking Easy wasn't probably the smartest move... it never got challenging enough to stay interesting as a whole.

It was like unlocking an achievement, but instead of getting a little prompt at the corner of the screen it popped up in my soul. Also, I get to uninstall the game if I want without feeling guilty.

Are there any balance changes to the game? I remember playing through some of the game and the shotgun was way way overpowered.

Probably more of an issue that NPCs would use it.

I am fairly certain NPCs don't use weapons as such. They just have stats.

I'm not sure about that. Different NPCs will use different weapons, like super mutants who use rocket launchers or chain guns. You could be right and that could just be their sprite, but since the weapons they use (or appear to) can also have the same effects on you, it'd leave me to think they do in fact use those weapons.

I think NPCs do have stats, but just the same as you and then the weapons they use are effected by those stats.

Plus you'll see it if you play. The same model raider that has a shotgun vs the one that has a pistol will do different levels of damage to you and will get to take different amounts of actions depending on how much AP their gun uses.

Not much time to play lately, so I mostly play Torchlight 2 (as an engineer this time) and FTL.
Two great "get in, play for no more than 30 minutes, get out and comeback later" games.

I've just finished Bioshock: Infinite. The overall game is good and I enjoyed it. I kinda liked the story and ending, although some elements of it are illogical and don't really make sense.
But where did he come from, this fleck of spite in an abandoned paradise?

    Farcry 3 completed.

A mostly enjoyable experience somewhat letdown by how gamey it feels throughout. The radio tower system seems awful with you not even being able to see the outlines of the island before unlocking let alone basic roads, then once you unlock them your map is filled with junk. Early weapons vs animals is particulary amusing as I counted 18 headshots to kill a tiger.

Buut, the gunplay is fun, the driving is quite engaging in first person and the stealth mechanics were a surprise treat (barring a couple of annoying compulsory sections in missions). Some missions did fall apart, particulary where you just have to murder everyone but overall the story and game made me happy and the ending song is great.

Tigers are endangered because of their skulls being the only way to get kevlar, rumours of it being synthetic are a hoax.
