I was, like, 10 when I played the demo of it. Weird game, weird 16-bit colours with a nice touch on the animations. For the guy I'm playing, at least.

Finished Hard Reset. That was... a rather abrupt end.

Flawed game, but enjoyable enough for me to give the 'expansion' a try when it comes out (considering it's free for the game's current owners and all).
Give me steam and how you feel to make it real.

Had a feeling you may react like that, just because everyone does. It’s not really an ending per-se as the game simply just stops rather than ends. The cut scene before the credits was a bit of a tease considering what he does.
Cant help shake the feeling the story was chapter 2 of 4 rather then the whole thing.

BF3 MP and ME3 MP and kinda not liking how Origin doesn't have a built-in screenshot factory.

Hard Reset was hurtling towards an ending with unseemly haste in that last chapter, though. You were completing about three objectives per room, everything was corridors, secrets were no longer actually hidden but just slightly to the left of your path...I got the feeling like they just wanted it done.

Yeah, I just rename Origin in Steam to whatever game I'm playing at the time.

Yo dawg - I heard you like digital distribution clients so I put a digital distribution client in your digital distribution client so you can run DRM while you run DRM.

Happens to a fair share of indie games actually... they're running out of cash or otherwise have a pressing need to monetize, and end up rushing it out of the door.

And in one amusing case, directly on your path.

Don't be so unreasonable, EA only had eight years to study Steam. That's like cramming for advanced calculus an hour before the exam.

Ok, this is going to drive me mad. The sticky threads don't stay where they're stuck! I thought I was imagining it for the longest time, but now I'm certain. They swap positions so the most recent is on top. They are not sticky enough!

that's kinda lemony to me though, when steam is primarily my icq/msn/trillian list these days, so it's always running anyway and I can upload the screenies for free to my profile and caption them, along with all my others

    The Next Big Thing.

Probably the best looking point and click adventure since Siberia, the dialogues and constant repeated humor is hilarious, the writing is unique and voice cast is outstanding as well.

    really enjoying it so far.
