The hospital works badly. If you have doctors they are bound to spend more time partying than healing your dorfs, but just in case make sure you make some splinters and make some thread avaliable. I'd recommend that you practice euthanasia to any injured dorf who isn't really useful, we don't want to spend time and resources on that average farmer wen we have a legendary miner with a smashed arm.

Finished Bastion. Very good game, but I thought it was a bit too short (6 hours). Think I will play it again using NewGamePlus sometime.

Finally started playing Crusader Kings II. Started my first game as a small Earl in Ireland. After two hours I still dont know what to do really but the game is fun anyways. Cant wait to put in some more time into this! Been some time since I played some good old strategy!

For some short bursts of gaming I started replaying Doom. I am using skulltag with BrutalDoom and this thing is so much fun. Good times!

I'm having a blast with Driver: San Fransisco.

I don't play a lot of driving games, and those I do play tend to have something interesting or unique about them. D:SF's is, of course, the car-hopping mechanic; which is all kinds of fun.

Also, I now demand that all open-world type games have an expandable minimap like the one in D:SF; since it saves me from pausing the game every minute or so.

Since Gotham City Imposters went free to play I decided to give it a go, but even when I set my video settings on medium the frame rates are horrible. Unplayable for a first person shooter.

Got FTL Beta access, but I can't run it because of this netbook's screen resolution :(
Still, I'm back home on my real computer in just over 2 weeks. Can't fucking wait (for all the games in my backlog and also FTL).

Got the Basement Collection. Really enjoying Time Fcuk, but couldn't figure out how to move in Triachnid. You get a 30% discount if you own SMB (and everyone must after all the sales and bundles), and it's cheap anyway, so I totally recommend it.
weekendwarrio.rs - We've got more games than time...

Hmmm that is strange, I browsed around and found other people have some frame rate issues as well. I have a powerful enough system to run most games on maxed out graphics yet it has problems with this one on medium.

It's also 30% off if you have Binding of Isaac. Obviously, they don't stack. Was tempted to get that, but I'll wait for a bit due to the backlog.

EDIT: Nice, DaftPunk. I hope you enjoy it. It has such a great tutorial - in minutes, you're in the thick of it and know exactly how everything works. Also, the rain. And the music. Good god the music.

Amen to that. They really upped the difficulty compared to the demo. I did get a score of 2000 points after a run that ended in sector 7, after I fled from a particularly tough automated scout... right into a pirate ambush. I knew it was stupid to warp toward a distress signal when your own hull integrity is below 25%.

That's pretty much my very first Zelda game and I never regretted playing that. Didn't went too far in the game, though.

I just took the plunge and bought Academagia a couple of days ago, for reasons I cannot quite even explain to myself. I've been playing it a ton since then. It's still somewhat disorienting and so far is everything I expected it to be plus quite a bit more. The writing is surprisingly good, and the poetry...not so much.
Wot I Think: The Game : an ongoing collaborative game-design experiment / comedic disaster here on the RPS Forums!
Kata vs. Kata : a game of simultaneous round-based predictive martial arts (like frozen synapse, but with punches)
Crossroads: The Haze : a game about princes eating soup in a turn-based wolf prison [*oversimplification detected*]

According to savefile, I'm 96% on Saints Row: The third, Turns out I'll en up with my first 100% ever, wich, of course means that the fourth will be a certain sale on my end.
And on Neverwinter Nights I've just got pas the alleyway and subsequent warehouse decence.
Also, started a new Fall From Heaven campaing with Grigory, turns out 100exp heroes on the first 300 turns can totally wreck most city defences, so I'm doing pretty decently.

That seems to happen an awful lot.

Playing through HL2 again (has it really been 8 years?). I'm at the part of Entanglement where you defend a control room using reprogrammed turrets, and for whatever reason they will not set themselves to an upright position when you pick them up (either with e or gravity gun). I seem to remember (and the Internet tells me) that this is supposed to happen automatically. The only way I can set them upright is to flip them in the air until I catch them in the right position, which is of course unsuitable for the assault. Frustrating.

Edit: burp, never mind. I brought three turrets with me to the room from earlier in the level. They don't right themselves automatically. The ones that were already in the room do.

I love FTL. I've gotten three ships by now, and unlocked the "B" version of the Engi ship, but I can't defeat the enemy mothership no matter what I do. On easy. XD Well, I'll get the hang of it, I guess... ^^

    having fun dying?

ok, i kid, i kid. i assume you have the A.S.S to slash away the skeletons and you know, you could get to as far as Tomb of Giants very early on. but i wouldn't recommend going that far as the giant skeletons lurk in the dark and will take a large chunk of your health
