Darksiders 2 complete, pretty great game though I think I missed a fair amount of side-quests/secrets and I didn't really enjoy the earth section.
On to XCom tonight :]
I thought Dead money was incredibly well done, and really set up what was a stunning 4 episodes of DLC. In in my opinion it was the "Timed pixel hunts that instakill you on failure, obnoxious enemies, and constantly eroding health" that made it all the more exciting. But most of all I loved how the DLC story ran almost parallel to the main game, leaving clues in the mojave but mainly linking each other until the climatic last quarter.
Just goes to show, horses for courses eh?
Probaly doesn't mean much, but I found Dead money to be second to Old world blues, which is absolute Genius.
I preferred Crysis 2 over 1 in that it was more gamey. Crysis 1 is a better sandbox and you can do some really enjoyable things, but 2 was definitely refined into a more...fluid game? I don't think I could say I like one over the other, but I think both were good. Warhead was possibly the best though.
XCOM, normal difficulty, Iron Man mode. It's so good. Ok, so the start is annoyingly hand-holdy and I'm so sick of the three main staffers talking to me, but the rest of it? Sublime.
weekendwarrio.rs - We've got more games than time...
Been kind of a crappy week, so I can't wait to veg out on Borderlands 2, Walking Dead, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, and Crusader Kings 2 (I'm gonna figure this game out if it kills me) this weekend. Might even devote some time to some Halloween or horror-themed games recommended to me in another thread :)
How far in are you? I wouldn't say it gets impossible, but it does get a lot harder, but all the more satisfying as you progress. Some of the sequences are wonderful to play through. The last few levels are spectacular.
I think I might agree with this 100%. It'll be interesting to see what Cry3 does, considering it looks to be merging the two ideas.
I don't know anyone who enjoyed that area. It was so damn poor.
XCOM!
Finally!
Well I could ...if only more closure were provided to the story. I didn't really dislike the game per se, but in the end, I was just left with this big bunch of question marks hanging over my head.
"There's a mod for that". And you should find one in this thread on the Steam Forums. If not, just install HotSpot and look for the most popular one.
I never really used any mod that changed the loot both because I didn't want to alter the balance of the game too much, but also because it's easy to tell the good stuff from trash and the pet saves you a ton of time.

I am also enjoying the hell out of XCOM at the moment. Having never played an XCOM game before I can't see how anyone playing this could go without using Iron Man mode. It is probably the most tense game I think I've ever played!
The Austrian curs have a new tactic.
It's bold.
It's powerful.
And it's entirely unpredictable.
It involves...
crashing the fucking game just when I've deployed all my units fucking perfectly!
Goddamnit Austria. Not cool.
And fuck Venice as well. Alliance-breaking, watery pricks.
I escaped X-Com for today. Those damn missions, they're small enough that you think you might as well do just one more... then five hours have gone by.
To be honest about an hour in to the game, but its very fun i must confest, also its very cinematic, but i didn't expect nothing else fro CryTek,first one was cinematic as well, but not so much as this one. Also the visuals..droll! :D
So far i like it,even if its without prone and lean.
Edit. Also playing PES13,i started Euro Cup with SLOVENIA and i was so close to lose to france, that fucking benzema..they were tough, after that i beat austria 1-0 and turkey 2-0 so i'm first in our group, next match is Bosnia lol, piece of cake for my Matavž xD

Finished Sleeping Dogs and Walking Dead Epi 4. Sleeping Dogs ended very predictably and full of cliche like the entire game but overall this is a very good game. The world is awesome, I love the asian setting in open world games ala shenmue yakuza.
Walking Dead Epi 4 is also good but compare to the previous episodes a step down. I like Garry Whitta but his writing for this episode doesn't seems to sync well with the previous ones. Overall decent but I hope the season would end on a stronger note.
Started RE5 again in anticipation for RE revelation for the 3DS
Well, FTL and King's Bounty seem poised to rob me of a large chunk of my life.
