Everything other than the combat is fantastic, however. What's your character build?
I finally had a near-perfect Gauntlet run in Jamestown and beat the whole thing on the third difficulty. Managed it with the Charge ship--I found it a little trickier to use than Gunner or Beam on some of the earlier levels, and those took some new tactics but it's so powerful on the last level and the final boss. I think I'm calling the game finished now. About 3/4 of the challenges completed, all but the last level beaten on the 4th difficulty, and one really satisfying Gauntlet run. Jamestown was really beautiful and incredibly polished and had the ideal difficulty curve and was the perfect length; I hope Final Form has new plans brewing.
In other news, I gave the original King's Bounty a brief whirl but decided it was going to get repetitive, and tried King's Bounty: The Legend but there was a stupid font or resolution bug that I don't feel like dealing with now so put it aside.
And finally, I bought Grimrock in the new Humble Bundle and started last night. It's so fun! I made it through the first level. Almost got crushed by that first set of plantmen, and was killed by the skeleton knight, but then I realized I could use that big square room to outmaneuver him and hit him from the side. Looking forward to seeing what else the dungeon has in store!

Binary Domain. Yeah, it's a really shoddy port but I'm still having a lot of fun with it. The WIT for this was overly harsh even though I fully understand the criticisms.

Now Im deciding between Inversion and Spec Ops. Also playing KOTOR but I keep thinking of not finishing it and going straight to Sith Lords.

After more than 10 years I have finally completed Sacrifice. Marduk is dead, Charnel kind of accidentally rules supreme, and I feel pretty damn good about myself as that was one hell of a final fight.
The first half hour was spent trying to survive.
The next was spent slowly picking souls off Marduk here and there, through killing him then stealing his minions before he managed to race back and get them all (fucker was fast) or using the wonderful Intestinal Vaporization spell.
The final half was spent taking out his manaliths one by one and reaping the souls of the titan creatures guarding them. Most levels in this game eventually reach that wonderful point where the enemy has few souls and you have lots. By the time all but one of his Malaiths were gone, Marduk had none left. It was glorious.
So that's Sacrifice. A 10 level campaign with 45+1 possible levels (tenth is always the same) resulting in 172890 different playthrough combinations of levels/spells/creatures. In other words, you could never play the same game twice unless you were trying.
Sacrifice. Play it.

What fixes/mods do i need for Dark Souls ???
Otherwise just reading IGn review of Silent STorm and their rating system is kinda strange lol, they scored game 8.1 but, look bellow.
Some performance issues here and there but the concept is solid.
One of the best looking turn-based games around. The environments and characters are first-rate.
Good music and some thrilling sound effects. Overall the voice acting is a little weak.
I like the tactical options here and the AI offers a reasonable challenge.
Two campaigns allow for a fun few days. The dynamic aspects of the campaign don't entice you to play through again.

I'd say start with the knight. High Dex builds can be very powerful, but they demand a bit deeper knowledge of the game mechanics to pull off, imho.
With a knight it's just a matter of grabbing the sturdiest armour and shield then block like there's no tomorrow.

Mass Effect. No metagaming, just going with what seems best within the actual ME-setting. So far that hasn't had any negative consequences, but I can imagine I'll skip pretty much all side-quests at this rate. It's the first male Shepard I pay in earnest, and the interaction with other characters hasn't been all that different."He has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to
the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free". ~ Luke 4:18

Couldn't wait so i went with warrior,it was high level then knight i think also it said he is expert in fighting or something like that. I tried to fight that fat demon with wings but i didn't do any damage to him haha,so i escaped through some doors i overlooked at beginning. Also can you manually save ?

However, if you really want to do something in a different way, once you've made your way through the game, the next time is much faster and easier. Half the battle is knowing the enemy, the other half knowing the environs.

Seriously, I'm tempted to take you up on that as I've had so much fun with the game. Not sure if I'd enjoy PvP though, a comp-stomp is usually more to my tastes. Unfortunately I don't think coordinating an MP game is really possible at the moment as my spare time per evening is decreasing rapidly in-favour/by-necessity of shit like this.

There are some crossroads(shaped like a +) free for all styles map where doing well gets you surrounded and "wining" becomes near impossible, but snatching a single soul feels like a huge accomplishment. I'll try and start a session up some time early next year.

About a third of the way into Mafia II. It's a slow burner, by design, but I'm starting to quite enjoy it.
I think I would be really enjoying it by now had the designers followed through their design logic and made it a guns and conversations game. The main problem is that you control everything in the game except the stuff that actually moves the plot forward, the cut scenes. At first I was all "Do I really have to walk down these stairs for 15 seconds? You couldn't have worked that into a cut scene or just left it out?" but now I quite like the autonomy it gives and the real problem is being robbed of that when the interesting stuff occurs.
You wouldn't even have to give the player a choice, just a few options to fill out the background and ensure the dialogue tree moves things forward. I think then it could have been really something. As it is you have this polished world were pretty much everything works, you begin to really feel immersed in it while still being driven along a plot line, and then it gets interrupted by a little film and you sit there with your arms folded and you're watching a serial rather than playing a game. I know that happens a lot in games, and usually I don't mind it, but the disconnect between what you do in this game and what you don't do is so disproportional that it's a real smack in the chops.
One of the few games where I wish there was a bit more gunplay as well, the cover system and movement is excellent, the AI clever so things don't just bogged down to sitting behind stuff for ages, seems a shame to limit it when it's so good.
So yeah, good game so far but feels like it was close to being maybe the first narrative game with a serious plot that was enhanced by an open world rather than being hamstrung or warped by it.
It's also got some of the best lighting and environmental effects I've ever seen:

There's a lot to be said for near-unwinnable games, although I imagine with proper use of Bovine Intervention or Intestinal Vaporization taking souls will prove easier. And in Sacrifice after enough time it's just a case of seeing who cracks first, or who hasn't been getting enough XP so is stuck with Firefists and Chain Lightning while everyone else has Rhinoks and Death.
