XCOM: EU. Still having a good time, still learning as I go. I anticipate this being even more fun on next playthrough, perhaps on classic. I don't see how I could ever tick the "ironman" box, unfortunately, as a result of the occasional interface fuck-up costing me a soldier. Choices having consequences is fun, interface glitches killing veterans is not. Better just to vow that I'll only reload for stuff like that, which I've actually been very good about throughout this first playthrough on normal.
Anyway, up to my second terror mission. I've no idea how far into the game I actually am, though. I need to build a hyperwave relay, anyone want to give me a % complete based on that?
Also, still plugging through True Vaulthunter mode in Borderlands 2. It seems like this should be getting old by now, but it's still some of the best mindless fun to be had with friends IMO.

The Witcher... Chapter 5... another swamp, another slew of quests, another bunch of annoying monsters (drowners: if Gerry's wearing the amulet, they come close enough so greens can't be picked up, but without it's a constant influx of undead flies on the windscreen) and characters I don't give a fuck about: finally the game's personal mix of overblown ambition, wooden delivery, cockeyed writing, outright repetition and gameplay quirks has got the better of me. Back in the backlog it goes.
Mark of the Ninja \o/ my expectations were not betrayed! checkpointing sucks at times, or maybe I'm too reckless (my tendency to completionism doesn't help either, it's like Trine 2 again), whatever the case, we'll see in due time. Finished my session with some Resonance, where I'm still dwelling in demoland.

I managed to make a fair bit of process in Dark Souls this weekend. I bought the game in the xmas sales as I wanted a new RPG to sink into over the holidays. I rolled a hunter and didnít make it too far from the asylum before I started getting killed by a massive knight I couldnít seem too damage (I had no idea how to backstab or parry + riposte). I gave up pretty soon from frustration at having to redo the same part over and over and deemed it as one of those many action RPGs that everyone loves but I just canít get into.
I decided to give it another go and began again with the pyromancer, and I have to admit, Iím enjoying the game far more that most other RPGs I have played. If it wasnít for the shitty port, I would be tempted to call it the best RPG I have ever played. I have a controller to play it with fortunately, but using the resolution fix seems to make the game crash at start up which is a shame as Iíd imagine it would look gorgeous at a proper resolution. However, the shabby port, and even GfWL (which has also caused a fair amount of grief) hasnít dampened my experience with the visceral combat and thick atmosphere.
Iím not even finding it as hard as I have heard it to be. Sure, I die when Iím not paying attention, but if I take things slowly and am cautious, it is quite relaxing. Admittedly, I canít be that far so it will probably turn to hell soon and I will give up on it, but so far, I have enjoyed the challenge and respected the game for it. I did have one shit moment last night just before I quit when a damn tree bastard grabbed me and eat my face, which was most unexpected, but it was near a bonfire and it was quite humorous in all fairness, so no massive loss and Iím looking forward to continuing.

Path of Exile when the server allows it (at least lag doesn't kill you like it did in Diablo 3). Very atmospheric game, but a bit amateurish in parts - still, huge potential. Except for the lack of easy respec.
And still dabbling with Tome. It can be hugely unbalanced (spawning a level 59 monster in a dungeon when I'm 25? Really?), but it's a lot of fun. Except when you die because it's hugely unbalanced.

Now that my current server in GW2 is slated to fight my old server in GW2 next week, there's now a reason to pay attention to that game again.
Still been playing NWN2's OC - which takes for-fucking-ever, consequently - so that I can use the same character in Mask of the Betrayer.
We need more D&D based RPGs that take place in the afterlife and/or planes, as that seems to be the only place where devs consistently have some imagination with their fantasy. I stated this to a friend of mine and he replied, "so you want Planescape: Torment." HELL YES I DO.

TF2 community went to shit since it became free to play. People don't care about the objective of the map,for example capture the inteligence,they just want kills. We had 8 snipers in our team for at least 30 minutes..i mean wtf is with people,i was the only enginer defending,we didn't had pyro's as well,only one demoman but he was busy rushing to their base..
Now if i want to play L4D2,its not that different at all,people don't play like team,don't share stuff,speak russian ? Etc.
And before someone say play with friends,well my friends don't play videogames,i'm the only one.

I think I'm nearing the end in Storm of Zehir. After having played nothing but NWN2 for more than two weeks ago now or so (and KotoR2 before that), I'm really tired of it by this point.
Earlier I killed two black dragons...over mead. I think it was supposed to be funny and, well, it kind of was, but after Mask of the Betrayer all the light-hearted stuff in Storm of Zehir feels jarring and out of place. What if those dragons were atheists and get send to the wall of the faithless? Their spirits getting eaten away by divine mold, writhing in unspeakable agony. Forever. Who is the scaly, man-eating, acid-breathing, beer-drinking monstrosity now, I wonder. Still them, of course. Everything else would be silly.

Pretty much what the others are saying. The TF2 community has thousands of players and thousands of servers. There are good servers and good games to be had, you just have to look for them.
Also DaftPunk, judging by the screenshot you posted on the previous page, you're playing on a 2fort only server with no time limit, a fate I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. Seriously, 2fort is a horrible map. If you want teamplay, you'll have a better chance with servers running payload maps like Badwater Basin and Upward.
I'm playing Gateways, which is a fantastic little puzzle-platformer. It borrows its main mechanic from Portal; i.e a Portal gun, and initially I thought it was just a Portal-in-2D clone. I'm glad I was wrong though, it quickly adds some of its own ideas, and the later puzzles are giving me a proper headache.
I've also started Rage, which is a decent, if unremarkable, shooter so far.

Oh goodness yes, if you want a good TF2 experience avoid 2fort like the plague. I imagine 2fort could be OK if both teams were used to playing together and coordinated well, but it's just ghastly on public servers.
