No, haven't played that one.
I'm playing Gateways, and it's... good. But unremarkable. I was similarly unfazed by Quantum Conundrum. On the one hand, the there was more wit in the latter, but on the other, the former's got more challenging puzzles. Although I don't appreciate the metroidvania element in this one. I would really like a function that puts you back at the hub instead of relying on sparse shortcuts.
I don't know what it is, but most of these puzzles just don't do it for me any more. No satisfaction. The "Eureka!" has become an "Ah." Same with QC. Maybe I've just become habituated to that testing rush Wheatley kept pursuing.

My mixed race wife who can get a bit shrill about video games was away for the weekend so I embraced the "While the cat's away" dictum to the extreme and roleplayed as an extremely violent racist in New Vegas for a few hours. Started fights with most black people and refused to say anything more to them than Goodbye.
My mother is proud of who I have become.

Haha sonson,i act tje same with black people in New Vegas xD... I take the lives of a few to protect the lives of many. I commit acts of war to preserve the greater peace. I take no joy in killing, but make no mistake; I'll do what needs to be done. Because it's my job. It's my duty. My name is Sam Fisher, and I am a Splinter Cell.

Finished Far Cry 2. The last part of the game was actually kinda fun as you got to kill a bunch of people who deserved it. I also gained the respect of the most powerful man in the game.

So I decided to "finish" Batman: Alien Communications and thwarted the Riddler, collected all of his collectables (except the skill category aka "beat up 20 people with xyz" or "throw 200 kids parties"). Then I had a fiddle with new game plus, started up "Quinn's Revenge" and checked out the "Riddler's Revenge" challenges (particularly liking the stealth ones). Wow, this game refuses to let go... I honestly thought I was done, I probably wont bother with new game plus unless I genuinely need more after trying the other stuff. But this game was an absolute bargain, I only wish that these skills were transferable to a multiplayer game of some sort, its almost frustrating having so much practised and not having way to really express it with others (outside of a high score), hell maybe the next game will add coop or something.
The Riddler's Revenge stealth challenges are particularly interesting in that they show off some of the complexity of the AI's behaviour by suggesting tricks you use against them. Now if only it ran a bit smoother.I'm failing to writing a blog, specifically about playing games the wrong way

Since RPS made a big stink about it, I decided to give Teleglitch's demo a go. I almost got turned off by the tutorial, and I wasn't having all that much fun until I made the cangun... Which is absolutely glorious. So that's $13 spent. Should do a good job of supplanting my horrible Binding of Isaac addiction.
I'm not sure that the roguelike structure serves it all that well. The individual levels are pretty big, so progress can be slow (especially if you have to backtrack) and it really feels like it would benefit from some sort of save function. I have no issue with the permadeath or the randomness, but it lacks that "one more game" compulsion of FTL or Dredmor.

I spent a lot of time searching for collectibles (I actually like the Crysis story) and I think how you play is a big difference
Against Cell, they are weak enough that you can just run and gun with no difficulties (even on the highest difficulty setting). Against the Ceph, it is faster to stealth and move from cover to cover while avoiding them and only engaging the bullet sponges who are too close to your hidey hole.
... I kind of Batman'd everybody :pSteam: Gundato
If you want me on either service, I suggest PMing me here first to let me know who you are.

Crysis 3 does a fantastic job at retconning the Crysis 2 era shit, including the comics in which Nomad dies. The third dogtag is Cupcake's (from Warhead) and Nomad is erased from all datapads except one...
Crysis 2 really was a shamefur dispray story-wise.
They're back on track now, despite what shit-eating reviewers want you to think, and I hope they'll keep making them.

I think my fortress is dying in an FPS death as a result of the population boom and culling the animals didn't work. The women won't stop birthing dwarven children every five minutes! Now I know how doctors feel in the hospitalArt blog here.
Stuffed with pokemon doodles. And arse. Enter at your own risk.

I could imagine that people submitting times there are more of the competitive/speed running sort?
