I think a big part of it is the flame war that started when someone posted a fluttershy Skyrim mod. A lot of douches came out of the woodwork in that thread to say impolite things including some pretty homophobic stuff. So that certainly prompted me at least to start posting ponies as a way of just annoying any lingering douches. Also, Ponies lip synching to gangsta is just inherently funny. Like fat people falling over.

I know! How can I shoot people in the back with a shotgun from 5 feet away moments after they spawn!? It's the end of a skill curve I don't think I can ever surmount.
