If a game is released on PC then we compare it to other PC games and expect basic PC-gaming features to be included.
and what games would you be comparing it to? Console lead development is the norm for 99% of non-indie non-mobile games. Aside from the odd Blizzard game, there are no big games that cater to the PC crowd first and foremost.
So if people are expecting a studio under time and money pressure to cater to a niche market's every desire, yeah they're gonna be disappointed...with every friggin game they want to play on PC.
