That would be great! I was going to say if everyone would like to post their backgrounds (even just answering the ten questions bit in the rule book) that would be useful, ill even give you a bonus 100XP if you do!

change of plans comrades! president weasel will kindly be following us into this foray and has tested the torrent which of course doesnt work (blame gremlins rather than my own incompetency) however he has kindly offered the use of his dropbox which seems like a grand idea, again I (or mr president) will need your emails to invite you, it has the additional benefit that you can drop you character sheet in it so I can take a gander, which president has already done and terrified me with his ballistic skill

galruch2@yahoo.co.uk drop me an invite to the drop box. I'll put my character sheet in there.

Oh and I'm playing a High Elf Mage called Farnoth, what is everyone else playing?

Turns out the terrifying ballistic skill was an artefact of me misunderstanding the advancements and taking all of them. It's still terrifying (actually slightly more, because Marksman gives you permanent +5) but my other stats are less good. I'll put the revised character sheet in the dropbox. In the meantime here's a background.

Ludo the Surly, Halfling Bounty Hunter

Pity the one who doesn't fit in. The dwarf who would rather craft intricate court poetry than intricate armour, the horse tribesman with an interest in scholarship rather than raiding, the halfling who finds farming incredibly boring, who hates village life and seeing the same faces day after day, year after year, who can't stand meaningless chatter and just doesn't get along with people.

Ludo spent his formative years avoiding the other villagers and obsessively practicing, first with his sling, and then with his crossbow ("Betsy" - he talks more to her than to anyone else, although that's not hard since unlike other halflings he never uses five words when one will suffice). He's never been troubled by conscience or bothered by what others think of him, although the looks on the faces of the other villagers when he dragged a couple of bandits into the village with crossbow bolts buried in their backs were what finally made up his mind to leave and seek his fortune.

Since then he's spent the last three decades using his crossbow to make a decent living hunting bounties (he prefers the "dead or alive" kind as there's less talking, but for enough money he's willing to bring one in at crossbow point), and he's used people's natural propensity to think of halfings as harmless, happy-go-lucky, cheerful souls to pose as a halfling chef and get close to unsuspecting targets.
Ironically, all that time posing as a cheeful halfling chef has made Ludo a lot more socialised than he used to be. Nowadays, even out of character, he's capable of having conversations consisting of whole entire sentences. He also makes a mean souffle.

    Where are you from?
    - the Moot. Small village. Incredibly dull.

    What is your family like?
    - Nice. Dull. Very talky. Never understood me. I never understood them.

    What is your social class?
    - Bounty hunter, it's a skilled trade. Family were yeoman farmers.

What did you do before you became an adventurer?
    - Grew up in a village. Everyone in everyone else's pockets, knowing each other's business. How are you today? Isn't it lovely weather? We could use a bit of rain for the turnips though. Mrs Smeggin's cough is getting much better. How's your mum?
    Hated it.
    Hated. It.

Why did you become an adventurer?
    - Turns out I'm really good with a crossbow. Turns out people pay good money for the right dead bodies. Turns out you can spend whole days without saying more than "tell me where Jacob the Spry is or I'll bury this crossbow bolt in your guts" and "this was Jacob the Spry. 5 gold".

    How religious are you?
    - Never piss off the gods. Luck matters.

Who are your best friends and worst enemies?
(this one's kind of up to the GM, but...)
    - never bothered much with friends. Don't have many live enemies. Maybe some bounty had a friend, and the friend has a grudge?

    What are your prized possession?
    - Betsy. A good crossbow is the best friend you can have.

    Who are you loyal to?
    - Whoever's paying me. I've got a strong work ethic, see?

    Who do you love/hate
    - I'm not one for strong emotions. I hunt bounties for money. Hate makes you make mistakes, and mistakes get you dead.
Got a lot of time for my sister, though I haven't seen her in years. Send her money now and then.

Hello hello, to wet your taste buds a bit I have uploaded to dropbox the very first hand out of the campaign (alongside a short information sheet and calendar), which details why you are heading to Altdorf, the capital of the Empire. Of course your personal reasons and motivations are your own, and while you are travelling with a group of like minded individuals it is more for safety on the roads than a long history of comradery. Perhaps you'll become fast friends or perhaps you'll end up murdering each other, who knows!

I know Harlander, Elesium and President Weasel have made/have an idea of their characters, Gorm is away until Thursday so Liquorish and Egg dont forget! Remember to let me know your emails to invite to the dropbox shared folder, on steam is fine, please pop your character sheets in there when their ready, let me know if you need any help, and remember you get a bonus 100XP if you do a character description in here!

So the first session will be this Sunday, let me know a preference of time, I am happy to start whenever, first session will likely be introductions and a bit of adventure but we'll see how far we get!

attention handsome men and ladies of RPS, we have a spare slot available if anyone would like to join in the adventure of a lifetime (may not be a very long lifetime), current heroes and villains fear not, we still have 5 confirmed and the campaign will play grand with 4+ and I have a couple of back up players just in case.

Let me know if you would like to join in, feel free to add me on steam (LowKey) to chat about it, you dont have to have any experience in either roleplaying or warhammer, just a desire to have a laugh and enjoy a great story of murder and politicking.

Players PW has reminded me that you can spend your current gold on items before we start and the item can be of any quality (if you can afford it of course) only time this happens, PW has taken a best quality bolas for example.

2 dice worth iirc. The random character generator gave me 9.
Edit: 2d10 gold - see Chapter II under "Starting Career".
You also get a set of worn clothing, a tattered cloak, a dagger, a hand weapon, and a sling bag with a blanket and a tankard and wooden cutlery.

Best Quality stuff costs 10x the cost of normal items; I could only afford the bolas because normal bolas are only 7s.

Don't know if you have the sourcebooks; if you pm me your email address I can invite you to the dropbox with them in (and you can stick your character sheet in there too when it's done)

Egg, you get one advance for free. (both of you, Lowkey will probably give you another 100xp which is worth another advance if you do a backstory thingy here)
Also, the fillable pdf sheet thing is easier to use than the export from the character generator - although it is a bit of a hassle to copy the info across, it'll make things easier in the long run.
