Well exactly
Well exactly
Anyone arond to help me make a character? Ping me on steam.
Well, it seems like you managed to figure it out.
Oh, did we leave your drones in that storage facility? o.O
I bet there was a juicy big slice of paydata on the kidnapee's comlink as well... ho hum.
I havent gone anywhere yet, dont you worry.
Wow, it's the weekend already...how's everyone's schedule? If PW is still traveling, we can wrap up our cliffhung SR episode. I'm definitely eager to see how this little confrontation resolves.
I and my tender chest will be there!
Unfortunately, I wont be able to attend tomorrow - I've been called upon to go out into the so call 'real world'.
I am back!
But sadly Egg won't be there, it seems. Maybe we can swap my character into your adventure, or maybe I could play Egg's and "definitely not get him killed" (tm)
"What do you mean where's the troll, I am an orc and you are a racist!"
Ok, so we'll be down an egg and up a weasel - we'll do a little retconning to make it work. See you in a couple of hours!
I may be like 10-15 mins late but just start without me, I am driving to meet everyone and listening to some sweet indian jazz
Nice job, crew. You managed to avoid completely screwing over your employer and going toe-to-toe with a respected runner group. Belenkiy was safely returned without raising any alarms at Ares. You did get taken in by the Void, however, and as such, Falcone will not be available as a contact. On the plus side, Lowkey didn't take a second gunshot to the chest.
The moral of yesterday's session:
If someone tells you you're being screwed over by your employer, but it's impossible to work out a sensible motivation for the overscrew, don't assume it's just because the adventure's badly written.
But the whole thing didnt make sense. Who left the ransom note? What was on the comm link? Why did anyone employ the ladies to kidnap the guy and then put him back?
Who left the ransom note: that hacker guy is my guess
What was on the commlink: the employees' work data, probably
Why do that overcomplicated fake kidnapping thing: i'unno
Why did you guys not remember you had an initial contact at Ares who sent you to help the ranch guy, who you could have checked back with? I kept telling you to phone up Ares and talk to them, and not once did any of you remember that it was someone there who contacted you in the first place. You could have cleared this whole thing up with a phone call!
You're talking about Tabitha, right? The chain of contact went Falcone -> Tabitha -> us. I didn't even realise she had anything to do with Ares.
Generally though, failing to ask everyone you know, and random people in the street, about everything is an easy way to slip up in Shadowrun, as demonstrated.

I just rolled out of bed, scratched my balls, got the call from you and turned up, followed some people about a bit and didn't shoot anyone, and made a profit of 1000 yenbucks. Not too shady.
Nice work if you can get it.
We didn't shoot anyone on this whole mission. The potential clusterfuck was contained quite well, all things considered.
Well if we're talking about the whole mission then I NEARLY DIED CHRIST
