    Real Life FPS

Found those in a local forum over here. It's in Chinese so I guess I don't have to bother to post the link to that thread.

Those videos are allegedly from Afghanistan. I never realized that it takes such a painfully long time to reload a LMG. While playing Bad Company 2, I love to use M249 because of its great rate of fire, but I always shoot only when I can clearly identify targets (it seems they change this game rule in Battlefield 3 by encouraging you to shoot suppressive fire). This guy in the videos obviously didn't even see his enemy, since he relied on his comrades to point out direction for him to shoot. Honestly even I dont see the target even with the luxury of sitting in comfort in front of my screen to study the videos.

The videos explain where the US military budget goes. Soldiers just hide in safe cover, and rain bullets on their enemies who shoot maybe one or two rounds to them. Of course, I am not saying they are cowards. They are not supermen. Staying alive is the most valuable asset to the military and the society.

Damn, I can feel the tension of that battlefield even the videos are without editing.

BTW when can all US boys and girls in Afghanistan go home? I think they are like chasing ghosts there: where you think you are already in control of the zone, enemies just pop up from nowhere. And...... they are essentially at our doorway, and they obviously are aware of that, right?

I know this is probably some kind of sarcasm, but still, even if this guy shoots his m249 all day without taking a brake, it's still not going to be as expensive as a helicopter flying for like two minutes. Logistics and maintenance are very very expensive.

There are plenty of other places to invade.

Bullets are cheap. Manpower is expensive.

Unless you're in Soviet Russia. :D
