I've heard that the original hasn't aged that well. On Giantbomb when they did the quicklook at they did briefly look at the remaster original and it didn't compelling. Still the game does have lots of fans iirc.

Also have to say as an aside www.giantbomb.com is a great site (and has about the best/funniest gaming podcast going to boot). Well worth making a regular stopping point for decent games coverage (along with RPS naturally).

Maybe it was a typo for "Note: Available on Steam"

    (A) The whole twisted child's tale thing just doesn't do it for me.
    (2) I think Tim Burton's turned into a predictable hack.
(γ) I have preconceptions that the Alice games are Burtonesque dross.

I have preconceptions that the Alice games, being that they are twisted child's tale things, are similar to the predictable dross made by Tim Burton, a hack.

Fair enough. Forgive me for thinking you meant both AMG's Alice games were inspired by TB's recently released Alice. I agree with your opinion about Tim Burton, with two minor differences. I think he has always been a predictable hack, with the exception of The Nightmare Before Christmas and James and the Giant Peach(but then, he produced those, and left the direction to Henry Selick, who also directed Coraline). And, as for twisted child's tales, I have always loved , and will continue to love, the works of Roald Dahl.

Yeah, after I posted I remembered something about Brink being unavailable on Steam due to GAME wanting exclusivity or something like that. Which does rather raise the question of why it's on D2D...
