Maybe elephant in the room isn't exactly the right term (not a native speaker) but the thing is that PS1 veterans got ensured and "priority access to beta". Now many vets are upset because they are not in the techtest, which was said to happen before beta and be randomly chosen. For some strange reason a lot of them don't seem to understand that techtest is not beta and for a even stranger reason think that having "priority access to beta" includes "curanteed access to techtest". Maybe I missed something but for me this doesn't make any sense. At all.

Ok, I see what you mean. There's a lot of whining about the tech test, the multiple beta stages (PS1 veterans, PC Gamer priority keys, normal keys, etc.) seem to have confused a lot of people, and everyone thinks they should be playing the game already.
If the Beta existed I might just possibly have installed a peice of software ... possibly.
Anyways can I get a clarifications on the RPS Oufit situation.
I would assume that since most of the RPS founders were Vanu in PS1 that the RPS Outfit is Vanu? Also it just makes sense.
Is this the only thread for PS2 things?
I'll be Vanu regardless and if there's no RPS Outfit side I'll head back to the Immortal Serial Killers I guess.
You can drop the needless obfuscation. The current NDA states you can say you're in the beta or not.

I think with all the Vets getting their invites last night we need to get a Planetside folder structure or something sorted out.
I'm terribly excited so will propably post 1000 times today.

Cooper in game. Vanu. Euro server. Have held off creating the outfit until as and when outfit / character deletion is announced. There's a few of us in and "Rock, Planet, Shotgun" will be rolling soon enough.
Edit: Scratch that. Outfit controls seem to be disabled for now. Still, friends list is working fine for now.

Sadly, no Euro/USA cross-polination allowed during beta, so I think I'll be on my lonesome.
Sounds like NDA will be lifted within two weeks, though, which will make coordinaton easier. And even though it's a silly beta, PS2 has been the straw that broke the camel's back...I just ordered a new rig.
Have we settled on Vanu as the RPS outfit? I really hate their purply pinky zippy guns.
