Very not complete, but gives a decent enough snapshot, methinks.
I tossed all the boxes, I keep all my DVDs, CD and PC games in cd carriers and the rest come from Steam which is practically my platform at this point.
You've just delayed Episode 3 for another decade... prick, take a bow. -_-

Most of my games are either filed away, Steam-ified or GOG-magoged, but here's my 'active' gameshelf*: http://i.imgur.com/NKbtZ.jpg
Not pictured: Brink, the sumptuous Witcher 2 standard box and STALKER, which are lazily stacked ontop of the PC.

WOW. Darkadia is awesome. Makes doing this (and managing a gaming collection) a lot easier.

If you like prog rock, then you're with me. If you dont, you are against.
Darkadia does seem to work very well. Are there any other services like this that may do a better job here or there?
I did hear about another one that had some nice features (like a distinction between finished as in finishing the main game, and completed as in getting all achievements) and integrated goals so you could set a schedule for clearing your backlog. Though I can't remember what it was called and last I heard they were having trouble keeping up with the server load, so it may be dead.
Alright, I believe I've got all of this sorted out. Yes, this collection has some that are != PCGames. Sigh... I accept my punishment.

There is the Backloggery which isn't so much a virtual shelf as it is a tool to keep track of how many games you're buying in Steam sales and then never touching again.
You're just on time too, since they opened up registrations again yesterday. I hope you have plenty of time available to catalogue your collections. :)
Here's my collection:

Restricted to just PC games I own right now rather than all-time.
Considering that I only started buying games about five or six years ago instead of mostly pirating them (Yeah, yeah, I know.) I think I'm doing alright. Also not pictured are the games I've lost over the years and another box that never got unpacked during the last move and the games I sold recently to a second-hand store. You never realise what eclectic tastes you have until you lay them all out and compare with other people's collections do you? Also pictured - my toddler's foot and also the reason some of my films ended up in the collection.
