Homefront 2, CoH2, Metro, Darksiders 2 and South Park have all been in development easily long enough to get shown. CoH2 was probably announced in anticipation of E3, and it's almost certainly worth the money for the coverage.

i just want to see Metro 2034 and DOW3
You missed the point where I implied Darksiders 2 and Metro 2034 are close to release and thus showcasing them isn't necessary.
Well considering DarkSiders is still due a couple of months after E3 and Metro isn't even until next year, it's not really a point.
Obviously I'm behind with the news.
I suspect THQ will be involved with Nintendo's conference and it serves as a win for both sides; Nintendo can boast third party support and THQ can show off some of their games they clearly intend for use on the system, such as Darksiders 2. One wonders if the delay was to make it closer to the WiiU release date, actually.
Anyhow, I think this is good. We'll still see their stuff, except this time we won't have any ridiculous car washing babes.
haha I forgot that was THQ. No wonder they're so strapped for cash these days...
Actually, didnt SR3 do really well?

I thought SR3 did fine, but not necessarily well.
SR3 did well enough that if all their titles sold like that, they wouldn't be in this mess.
I don't think the car wash realistically impacted on sales though.
I mean to say that I agree with JG Man that the car wash likely didn't have a big enough impact on sales to make it worthwhile, I also think it shows a lack of understanding (or perhaps just misguided) by there marketing team (which I think was one of the main problems with Homefront?).
which has all likely had a large hand in there current financial situation.
they seriously wanted to boost sales, and sadly, though the genki stuff was hilarious (and crap ingame), all other "OMG PORN STARS PLAY SR TOO!!!11" was just to invite the porn lovin xbox playin crowd out there.
