A big group of the minecraft community has ben always highly disrepectfull to Notch. Creating threads like "Notch is lazy", "Wen will Notch finish Game of thrones?" and crap like that. Now is "Mojang getting greedy?".

The minecraft community has some nice things, but there are others that make me think stupidity is bottomless.

To be fair... well okay not really fair but realistic, the Minecraft playerbase does include a significant number of children who are even more immature than the general gaming population. Naturally you're going to get dumb statements like that.

But by the same token, the mod community ultimately did a far superior job when it comes to adding new content than Notch ever did. Curiously, it seems like Minecraft actually slowed down when Mojang got going, rather than sped up in terms of adding new features. The game on its own does feel a little unfinished. I mean villages are entirely pointless, and a mod did villages well before they were officially added and did a much better job at them. Really, Minecraft isn't worth much without mods these days.

It doesn't validate the pointless bitch threads that populate the Minecraft forum, but it's not like Mojang created a flawless masterpiece immune to criticism.
