The real news is Obama admitting this so casually.
I think Obama did this as a show of force to China who orchestrated the Aurora attacks last year on major US companies. Symantec is sure toting the government line, praising the complexity of Stuxnet.
But what about the Andromeda Strain effect? This powerful malware was either modified or botched and it escaped into the wild. This demonstrates one of two things - the USA\Israel engineers are sloppy, or there was some treasonous or rogue element that modified it unbeknownst to the authors. Either shows weakness.
