Thread: Epic Games saves Big Huge Games!

Epic Games saves Big Huge Games! (UPDATE: the studio is closed)
Epic will hire as many Big Huge employees as it can and until a new studio is set up in Maryland, some of them will work as contractors at the Epic HQ.
Once again, Big Huge Games dodges destruction!
Now let's imagine an Amalur sequel built on UE4.
Or even better, a new Rise of Nations. They only need to rescue Bryan Reynolds from Zynga!
8 months later: We’re closing Impossible Studios.

Nice. Albeit I haven't finished it yet, I could go for some more Amalur. Maybe with Epic behind the studio, EA might buy the IP from RI and get them working on it.

I can't imagine Epic wanting to bankroll an RTS game, or have they changed their tune recently?

Don't Epic usually release most of their stuff for PC? Aside from Gears obviously, because MS want to use that to promote the 360.

I'm not sure what they've done recently apart from UT3 and Gears of War.

On topic, now. Considering they hired the devs that makes RTSes and Amalur, do they actually have plans make to those kinds of games?
