Either you've been following the series since '07 or just found out about it on Free Comic Book Day, it might be interesting for you to know that there's been a project for an animated short going on since two years ago by an independant animation studio. There's been a teaser trailer out on YouTube but now, an official trailer has been released for it:

Comixology's got some copies for the Free Comic Book Day editions and volume 1, if you want. It's quite good.

I read the first volume when it came out on paper but have not been following it after that, this looks cool though.
