Hey all,
Looks like Bioware have updated the Ending DLC Info and given a release date, it's due out on the June 26th and seems pretty substantial.
Not sure if anyone else has been waiting on it, but I've been looking forward to it.

It will give me a reason to play the games again. I think I'm going to go through all three games and be the biggest asshole possible, no matter how hard it gets.

I'm failing to writing a blog, specifically about playing games the wrong way

Sorry. But the vision of Bioware fans, who bought a broken game at full price, paying even more so that Bioware fixes it and being thankful for it was just too delicious.
I'm not entirely sure many people are necessarily going to be thankful. Fundamentally the storyline ends the same way, and it's the nature of the ending which essentially pissed people off. That it's adding more to the game is no bad thing, so I will definitely play it, and given they've fixed the stupid ME1 head issue I might well replay it from scratch with a Shepard that looks close to my original. On the positives, after innumerable hours on the MP with fellow RPSrs I won't be buying all the guns, but instead concentrate on the ones that are worthwhile.

Yeah, I was disappointed by the ending as well, note disappointed not filled with burning fury of a thousands dying stars, the thought that they've taken on board the feedback, gone away and been working on a 1.9Gig DLC update to try and make fans happy rather then sticking two fingers up and telling people to jog on while whistling all the way to the bank makes up for it as far as I'm concerned!

Interesting, I'll check it out on YouTube. I am kinda curious, but it's been over three months since I finished ME3 and I can't get excited enough about this to go through the rigmarole of reinstalling the game, downloading a handful of patches and DLC, and replaying the London level just to see a couple of minutes of extra exposition.
"And in that day you will cry out because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves." ~ 1 Samuel 8:18
Anyone else intrigued that they're suggesting you play a pre-Cerberus base, not a pre-London one?

Seriously. If this is the sort of market a company has to cater to, they might as well punk the lot of you because it'd be a lot less effort for the same result. For fuck's sake.
The first words you see after downloading it should be an apology from Casey Hudson and their lead for insisting on writing the ending by themselves and refusing to allow any input from any other writers, but given his defence of the whole debacle so far, I somehow doubt it.

It's not exactly verified as a genuine source, but the comments following that article about the deletion of Patrick Weekes comments on the Penny Arcade forum are noteworthy.
