Just minutes ago I tried to login to play Bad Company 2, but the system keeps telling me my password is incorrect. Then I quit the game, went to the official game forum to see if any things was going on. Turns out I read this:

Then I checked my email registered with EA and really received a mail concerning the issue. Damn, the public media, including RPS, has no coverage over this incident.

Seems as though Bioware sent out the reset password email to everyone who had an account with them, and since it can be the same account that's linked to your battlefield account, that'll be why you had the issue.
Basically they reset everyone with any EA related accounts password
