You don't seem to understand what that means.

Ok thanks for that master Yoda. Maybe you can do me a metaphor to explain it while I file my nails.
Maybe he's some sort of vampire.
(sorry if it's difficult to read, poor english)
What have I done... ?
Seriously people, when I started this thread I just wanted to explain how I evolved in the way I buy and play games and to see if people were walking the same road. I didn't think (some) of the (usually decent) RPS folks would start with petty insults and silly, borderline racists, comments...
Remember Rule Number One? Please ?
I really think piracy can be a threat to game developpers but even if it's morally wrong there are times where it doesn't really harm anyone.
When I pirated FF8 when i was 17 and penniless I wasn't hurting Squaresoft, because i wouldn't have paid for it no matter what. (or maybe in second hand years latter). But today, even with my average income, if i decide to pirate a game i would normaly buy and play THEN I hurt them a bit (lost sale, not really theft).
As I said earlier (and the argument went under the radar) It's to the developpers and publishers to find a way to improve paying gamers experience, not trying to fight them in court or with ugly DRM methods. It's a lost battle. (Again some example: All DLC for free for Day one purchases, Steam workshop, support, better servers, free content, sales). I still don't get why you don't have reduction if you already own x games of that company...
There are still LOTS of way to fight piracy, it's just that (most) publishers still think defensively where they should start thinking how to reward their fanbase.
Toxic thread alert! Lock protocol engaged.
