I think I've actually lost interest. That's surprising, I was chomping at the bit for the next part of this story 5 years ago, but it's been so long that I've basically lost all confidence in Valve's ability to finish it well. The Valve that made the Orange Box is not the same Valve we have now.

If there's one thing I know about Valve, other than the bloody hats, is that they tend to start over everytime they felt the project they're making is below satisfactory. Same thing happened to Half-Life and the second one. But, I don't think I'll be seeing this one anytime soon.

I dunno, I'd have every confidence in a developer who works on a project because it's something they can all get behind rather than a project they feel forced into doing with a dreadful product.

I haven't so much as lost interest as I have gained patience. I've spent so long waiting that it's just normal. When the trailers roll out for the eventual release, then I'll be on edge again.

It is about time. I haven't even played half life to much and even I am sick of waiting. I don't even want to play it I just want to know that they finished the half life story. I was worried that it was going to be the next duke nukem and was going to take 20 years to make it. Though I hope that that don't give it a bad ending because they lost the ability becaus they are spending to much time make Portal 2 dlc and TF2 hats. Now don't get me wrong, I love Portal 2 and enjoy seeing dude pwd on TF2 as much as the next guy... I just hope they haven't lost touch with there Head Crab infested roots.

If you read the article, they are apparently from 2008, so I don't think these are indicative of any recent or impending movement on the project. From those images though, I'm guessing it's going to be "HalfLife2: Episode 3 - Project Catwalk". Looks like a freaking fashion show.

Actually, that's part of the reason I've lost confidence. I don't think they really want to make the game anymore, so anything they do make is going to be a product of "have to" not "want to."

I hope that Alyx with a Tuchanka with the Sickle and Hammer concept art becomes a reality in Episode 3. That would make that whole 6+ year wait worth it.

Meet the Pyro had some impressive visuals and quite a few funny moments, but for some reason it just felt lacking to me. Maybe it's simply because after the excellent Meet the Medic nothing could have lived up to my hyped expectations. Also, I'm not sure why but the violence in this one made me a lot more uncomfortable than in the earlier Meets.
