    The Cheat thread

So, what are you guys favourite cheats? Since multiplayer has really taken off cheats have a certain stigma to them now as being a bad thing, but sometimes games are even better and more fun with cheats. I love Zombie mode in Saints Row 3rd and being able to spawn cool things in GTA IV and stuff.

I used to love getting my old copies of Atari ST user or C&VG and Gamesmaster (with Patrick Moore and Dominik Diamond) on the TV just for the cheats section to see if any of my games had cheats.

Would be cool to be able to share confimed working cheats too (although NO MULTIPLAYER!!!!111!!!one).
I hate side quests. If you can't be bothered to write a decent enough story to fill a game, then just hire a writer that can. Enough of these filler quests that really turn an interesting game into a grind.

Midway games always had crazy cheats. In one of the MLB Slugfest games you could turn the batter into Scorpion from Mortal Kombat.

Also using the infinite resources cheat in Supreme Commander and just building an army of experimentals.

"T" in IK+, which I suppose is more of an easter egg than a cheat.

qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnm in Full Contact, because we got a free copy of Supercars 2 when my brother submitted it to Amiga Power.

Cheating isn't about removing challenge, it is generally just for the sake of messing around and having fun. I beat games then I will play around with the cheats if they have the option, I suspect it is the same for most people.

Extreme g3 muon lap challenge:D Not really a cheat but an easter egg (the game also had cheats like infinite energy and shield but those are generic)

    CLUAConsole:SetCurrentXP("2950000"). So convenient.
Irrelevant on further examination of the rest of the thread.

Sabre realistic combat and the ability to spawn any NPC in Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast.

The ability to fly (via no clippings I think) and spawn multiple LAMS in Deus Ex, it's fun to play the game of JC is an aerial bomber.
