Rock, Paper, Splinter, Cell - Now with steam group

No this not some needlessly expanded version of rock paper scissors but a potential sneaky game group.

It's actually a "games" group, bundling together the 2(3) multiplayer and cooperative variants of splinter cell.
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory's (including the competitive multiplayer aka shadowstrike)
    Splinter Cell: Conviction

It's multiplayer on a much more personal scale, many people own these games but never really tried the coop and multiplayer content which is in its peak condition are some of the best games I've ever played.

    So any interest?

I've got chaos theory but only bought it recently so haven't really played at all. How hard is it to get into the co-op? i think i'd be keen though.

I heard only good things about the coop (<-- stupid me, I mean multiplayer) of Chaos Theory, so I'd be definitely up for it.

The coop is exactly the single player with one extra button which does contextual coop moves... Oh and no whistle button, and instead you must make noise over voip and guards will hear you... Bonus tenchu points if you bark like a dog.

That sounds amazing. "I'll go round the corner and..." "not so loud!" "...but there's no guard OH GOD"

Also you get to verbally abuse the guards so they know where you are, it's like Splinter Cell: Conviction backwards.

I bought CT from Gamersgate some time ago but I am having problems with the installer, it crashes as soon as it starts. I think w7 is not supported? If I resolve this, I would be interested in some coop/multi action as well.

I would NEVER suggest using a crack to bypass drm, so I'll merely highlight that the drm that breaks in win 7 isn't on the steam version. The competitive multiplayer ("shadowstrike" was its early name) can be launched from a separate exe in the system folder of the versus or multiplayer folder. This has no drm issues at all.

thanks for the tip, its good to know. But my problem is the installer not the .exe. As in I can't even install it on my PC, because the installer crashes as soon as it is launched... On the GMG page it says only Win XP is supported, however I have managed to play it on Win 7, so something is going wrong with the installer file. At the same time GMG have run out of keys apparently so I have to wait in order to use one with steam.

I might be up for some multiplayer. I don't have Conviction, but I do own Double Agent and Chaos Theory.

So me and labbes ran around clad in rubber... When the novelty wore off we played coop chaos theory.

This guy is a superhero called Captain Horseshoe, don't know what his power is.

Accordingly to wolfram alpha I generated 2.54 less orphans. Thus I won

Just a note, conviction is 3.24 & 1.24 for the dlc and chaos theory is 2.24.

DON'T BUY THE CONVICTION DELUXE, IT'S POINTLESS. :)

Edit : oh, and it's on steam.

This is very much a necro, but i am keen to find people to play the coop for Blacklist, Chaos Theory and Conviction, steam group still exists.
