I knew DK3 was being made by Chinese developers, as an MMO. Its existence was subsequently purged from my mind, like a terrible premonition. I'm not watching that, just going to pretend it isn't there.
If DK3 was being made by Sony and it was just a reskinned Planetside with AI minions it would be fucking awesome, so its not an MMO problem so much as its a "super generic" problem.

Well from what I read a ways back, it's actually half classic DK and half "WoW." Not that that excuses anything but it's at least not ALL wrong.
That's like saying something is "half delicious cupcake, half airborne flesh eating bacteria".

This actually looks sorta like dungeon keeper, if a very dull, empty and unimaginative one.
Still wondering why there's noone who makes a goddamn good dungeon keeper clone that has the pace of the first one.
What's the pace of the first one? (never got it working)

A lot faster than the second, creatures didn't have that much issues with pathfinding. Training rooms had nice mechanicy sounding death balls in them. Heroes trying to breach your dungeon thumped your walls eerily as they tunneled around, trying to find an unwalled section. Sounds and fast creatures made it feel like that. Dungeon Keeper 2 feels a bit sluggish often.

You know something's gone terribly wrong when a 12 minute video about a game called "Dungeon Keeper 3/Online/Whatever" does not include a single dungeon.

Crushing our childhood memories, that's what it is. Could devs please stop putting out mediocre (at best) remakes of games I am fond of? I always get the urge to come up with something better, but I simply can't do them all myself.

I see it has those quest links that automatically walk you to your objective. Does it also have a built-in bot that plays the game for you like many other Chinese MMOs?
