I occasionally write things on this website. You can read these things by clicking this thing:
www.teamsao.com
Might and Magic: Heroes 6
Trine 2
Risen
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
Alan Wake Franchise
Frozen Synapse
L.A. Noire complete
The Walking Dead
Pendulo Adventure Pack
Dear Esther
The Longest Journey
Total: 89,5 euros.
Uh oh, I'm closing in on my thought limit of 100 euros. There are still some games I'd want if their price drops though.
Trine 2 won! Score. New poll isn't as exciting though. I'm waiting for AssRev to go 75% off and that'll be it for me :)
FINAL SCORE:
Crusader Kings II Collection - Along with Sword of Islam and Units of Africa
Dark Messiah Might and Magic
Frozen Synapse: Red DLC
Dear Esther
Orcs Must Die - Lost Adventures DLC (Only 1 I was missing)
Dungeon Siege III and DLC
Dragon Age Origin Ultimate Edition (Never picked it up first time round)
L.A. Noir - Complete Edition
Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition
Costume Quest
The Walking Dead
Steam Sales always break me :-.
And I am offically set till Christmas game wise!

And then people wonder why industry is in the shape it is.
Legend of Grimrock - £4.79
Crusader Kings 2: Sword of Islam - £1.99
Clash of Heroes: Might & Magic - £1.99

Crusader Kings II: Islamic trio 3.47 EUR
Back to the Future Pack 6.24 EUR
Saints Row: The Third 7.49 EUR
SpaceChem + 63 Corvi 2.98 EUR
Cyan Complete Pack 14.99 EUR
Activision Hits Collection 45.99 EUR
TOTAL: 81.16 EUR
That means I've lost 14.64 EUR to Steam's ridiculous 1:1 exchange rate policy, but I suppose I don't really have the right to complain about that. Right now at least.
Sanctum Soundtrack DLC - £0.86
Trine 2 (As a gift) - £2.99
Not too bad so far!
- Might & Magic: Heroes IV + DLC
- Some DLC for Crusader Kings 2 (which I haven't even played yet...)
- Portal 2 (haven't finished the first one yet...)
- Frozen Synapse RED

So far:
£ 2.99 Trine 2 as a gift for my wife as we enjoyed playing through the first one.
£ 1.71 Sanctum DLC
£ 7.12 Sonic Generations and DLC
£ 1.48 Binding of Issac and DLC
£ 8.61 Civ V and DLC
£ 2.91 Space Marine
£21.84 Current total
The bottom two aren't actually from the sale; Civ I picked up in the weekend offer a few weeks ago and SM from PC World. Both were on my pre-sale shortlist though and I intended to buy them so I am counting the damage here.

So far just:
Portal 2
Trine 2
They should totally add a badge for people who only buy sequels in this sale :P

Having a new game's price slashed in half within a month is definitely a problem, but a sale several months later? The majority of a game's sales are in the first couple of weeks anyway (just like new box office movies). The Steam summer sale is like a gamer's version of Black Friday, only with less fatalities. Most Steam member's virtual baskets will be overflowing with stuff they'll never even get around to playing, while the developers will presumably be busy swan-diving into their new money-filled swimming pools. Everyone wins here!
Trine 2
Risen ( just waiting for a better than -50% to buy )
Legend Of Grimrock
Dark Messiah Might and Magic
Dead Island
