    MS Flight Simulator X question

    Can you hide the steering wheel or whatever it's called so that you could click on the controls behind it in virtual cockpit?

    Because after many google tries and scouring through the control options I can't find a way.

    It's called a yoke, and I think you have to use the 2D cockpit in order to do this.

    Thing is though that even the 2D cockpits don't always have all the buttons and switches. They aren't necessary per se, but I like to do a manual start-up.

    You could look around the yoke with TrackIR, probably. I've never used it with FSX. Sorry that this is not ideal.
