    PCGamesN

I've just come across this site; seems like I'm a bit late. Seems to be Tim Edwards ex of PCGamer's new thing.

    http://www.pcgamesn.com

Question: Anyone been visiting this site much? Is it worth keeping an eye on?

I've noticed the "submit stuff" allows people to add things. Not sure what to make of that.

Having a quick gander, it seems to be even worse than RPS for sifting out features from 'takes' on PC news.

Not sure I need another source of PC Games news that churns out a dozen posts a day... But my book-by-cover judgement may be wrong; so does anyone recommend the site?

I have seen some good stuff coming from here and The Verge's new subsite. I would recommend it.

I follow them on twitter but don't bother visiting the site with desktop.
Read more here (now 50% less regular!) or on Twitter!

The design is ugly and there is an annoying spotlight & links to other sites between articles & comment section making it look awkward.

Very similar to the PC Gamer site (obviously, I guess, considering who is behind the scenes). I think that most sites like this could do with a "Contents" as the first page, similar to what you get in a printed mag, with just the article headline and a line or two about the article.

Must say, I think Tim has made a brave step giving up his PCG Editor's chair. Good luck to all of them. Maybe one day there'll be a huge PC games site staffed and run by lots of ex Gamer, Format and Zone writers.
