No, I can't say I have (although I can see the jump). I just do things like this when I've some downtime to keep my hand in. As you like it I've put a bigger version below which you're welcome to use.

No worries. I might work it up some more as a proper wallpaper tbh. If so I'll give you a heads up as and when.

Incidentally, this took me less than 20 minutes. Also, I miss Wizardry and Wulf.

I love your sketches and the choice of green paper. As a matter of interest have you tried drawing with blue pencil? You might find you don't lose so much detail Vs standard graphite.

Thanks and the paper's white, actually. Somehow it turned up green on the cam, probably from bad lighting or some shit.

I never tried a blue pencil for my sketches before so I'll keep that in mind.

Worth trying out, you find a lot of animators use blue (or red) pencil for sketching out characters initially. Though be aware that the leads are a plastic so they are a lot more brittle than standard lead (press lightly).

Using a black polychrome pencil yield similar results to blue pencil?

Not really because blacks quite heavy to begin with even Vs standard pencil lead. The point is with a blue (or red) lead you can lightly sketch out your form and then once you're happy then bulk up the key lines, and pull out the edges, where as with standard pencil it's very easy for the greys to muddy things up. Sadly home scanner is fubar at present otherwise I'd show you a comparison (though I might see if I can get it working), but you can see what I mean if you have a look at this guys sketch.

    http://www.junkyland.blogspot.co.uk/...-this-way.html

Initial one carried out in blue pencil when he's working out the design and then final design likely done either using a lightbox trace or scan/photoshop on top.

If you can't get access to a blue pencil (or leads) you can always use a blue biro. Biros are surprisingly good for sketching with I find.

Oh. I thought it was a material thing. It makes sense. I've been trying to improve my sketching skills but to my fault I haven't been practising.

I felt compelled to give Nalano's quiz a serious try. It's actually suprisingly tricky.

It's a trick quiz. There isn't any wall of text so none of them could be from Wulf.

At first I felt honoured. But then I realized all this means is that I should probably spend less time browsing the forums and more time contributing to society.
