Just watched Million Dollar Baby, and that twist was o.O Quite depressing shit..

One of my favourite martial arts movies is Jet Li's Fearless.

John Woo's Red Cliff is an epic movie set in the Three Kingdoms era. The battle tactics are quite different from what you see in Western movies. Its hero characters are borderline fantasy - larger than life figures with incredible fighting skills and fun personalities. Watch the full two parts movie, not the butchered US version.

He and the main character were responsible for the fight coreography. Very impressive indeed.

As per one of my college professor's recommendations I really enjoyed the anime version of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. It's just 6 episodes and features a good variety of confrontations. The protagonists' powers are some of the coolest I've seen in any fiction. I also like how terse and macho everyone is - a lot of story is revealed through few words.

    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)

No I'm not kidding. If I had said Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3, that would have been a joke, but it wouldn't have been funny. :/

It's a shame that no Bruce Lee films have been mentioned up to this point. Enter the Dragon is great, and Way of the Dragon is awesome if for no other reason that it has Bruce fighting Chuck Norris in the Roman Coliseum.

It's totally got John Saxon, Jim Kelly, Bolo Yeung and Sammo Hung which is almost a B-list martial arts ensemble cast. If it had Cynthia Rothrock beating everyone up and Sho Kosugi popping up to ninja the fuck out it would be the best martial arts film ever.
