1 hour into the game and I'm already in love. It was expected anyway, I have been trying to get people to jump into a game like this for more than a year.
Anyway, same way there's a Frozen Synapse league we can create another one for this game :D

Played it loads on the phone, so definately up for some leage-y play. Can be hard to find some enjoyable gaming company :)

I'm interested in the game, but I've already been burned out by many other "but it's (insert uber cheap price here)€ only!"; Is there any way I can try this out without having to sell my soul to Apple?
It's server-based multiplayer so no. It's a 5€ leap of faith. Imagine Clash of Heroes, Archon, HoMM combat or Summoner Wars. If you liked them all, this feels like the same.

Sign me up for this! I found all of the challenges to be pretty neat puzzles, and some regular matches would be welcome (especially since the game lacks bots...grrr).
Kinda got interested in the video TB released yesterday but overall it seems a bit too expensive to me. Would love to play this but as long as they have this very odd pricing model I fear I have to resist.
From what I've read on the Steam forums, you can buy the base game on Steam, then (ab)use an iEnabled friend to purchase the other teams much cheaper and they'll be usable in your Steam copy.
