Forgive my confusion - hopefully someone can fill me in here:
I just got a Beta invite, I'm in the US, and I want to play with some like-minded folks (read: RPSers). How do I do that? Are there any US RPS 'clans' (or outfits or whatever they're called)? Or, alternatively, is it possible to play with you EU folks?

Currently, though, both the RPS outfits are on the Eurydome server (EU).
There are as of yet no region restrictions; it should be possible for a US player to play on a European server. I know I've played with 'mercans on Eurydome before now.

Had a quick gander today.
I'm liking the small changes to Indar. Some locations to the west of TI alloys, and one or two to the east have been overhauled. West Highlands has a gate & shield so becomes a proper choke point now.
How do I get in on this outfit?

I find it kinda funny that (as people blamed) PS2 is going the CoD route with fixed classes (as Tribes Ascend did and I don't think that it helped the game) and now Blops2 is going the PS1 route with fully customizable loadouts.

I think classes help a game like PS2.
You know what you are doing, and those around you know what you are doing. It also forces you to be somewhat reliant on others. In PS1 everyone had a basic loadout that made them largely self sufficient. Only niche roles required organised support.
What PS2 gets really, really wrong are model sillhouettes. Too much similarity. It's difficult to tell empires apart, let alone whether or not anyone nearby is a friendly medic...

And from what is looks like, with camo and identical helmets across empires this will get even worse. Brink had the same problem. I wonder why so many shooters get this wrong.
And it doesnt stop with infantry. It's also almost impossible to tell which secondary guns a vanguard has eqiuped or a lighting unless they start firing. And don't get me started about infantry weapon lookalikes. But with the low time to kill this doesn't really matter.
I have a VS character called UrracaRPS on Eurydome, an invite to the outfit would be nice!
