Rock PPC Shotgun; Mechwarrior Online
Now that the closed beta's been in full swing for a while, any RPSers want to play stompy robots together?
If everyone who wants to play posts their in-game name then we can build up a little proto-corp.
Mechwarrior Online Name (RPS Name)

Does the NDA currently allow disclosure of whether you're in? If not, I'd hesitate to say.I'm Respecting your culture!

I've been approved for the beta, but have yet to install it.

Nullkigan's got it right. You're allowed to say you're in, and that's about it. I personally think it's kind of silly given how well it's coming along and how little they seem to be spending on advertisement, but I guess that's why I don't work in marketing.
Anyway, in game name's SenorPresidente, feel free to add me.

I remember thinking when I played Mechwarrior 2 (jeez that was 17 years ago?) how awesome it would be when graphics reached the point where in-game was as good as that FMV intro battle sequence...

Problem with the founder package (for me) is that the xp booster icluded starts on release date. I will most likely will have little to no time to play anything a few months from now. So that booster would just go to waste.

Do love me some mechs. Usually play medium-scout; in-game ID is nazral, all lowercase.

So I haven't had the pleasure of meeting either of you ingame, but I found out there's an unofficial MWO Teamspeak server that was set up by someone in the community for people to form teams and play together.
There's always a fair amount of people in it and so far my experience of it has been very positive. I'd definitely recommend it if you're getting tired of playing with AFKers and terrible LRM boaters. Details are here.

I believe the NDA is still in place. I guess it is okay to say if you are in the beta and to post ids, but everything else might get you banned.

it would be worth the $30 the basic founders' package costs.

I'm a long time mechwarrior fan (of the PC games that is), and very tempted to pay the 30€. But I'm not sure if I will like it, and waiting till the closed beta ends. Mechwarrior Living Legends has set the bar rather high IMHO.
If this had a single player campaign it would be a insta-buy at 60€.

Agreed that I would rather have had a singleplayer game, despite having paid for the $60 tier anyway. :mechregret:
Things that MWO does better than MWLL, without discussing the game and thus breaking NDA:
* has a total player population above 50
* has no air assets that the devs, who like to fly, have decided to give more weapons to than an assault mech, more speed than a light and the armour of a heavy
That the NDA is still up is getting a bit ludicrous now.

In MWO I'm 'Levesque'.
Just a thought -- given the factional nature of the game, maybe we should be eyeing an RPS-aligned group of merc companies/house companies/etc?
