That's pretty much true of almost all hammers sadly. The reason why I run around with dripping-pebbles-on-a-stick, it's big enough.

The shield is beautiful! I also like the daggers (and most of the weapons with red ribbons attached) and the longbow, especially. But if I was ever lucky enough to find a ticket the shield would be my first purchase.

(Agreed on the lack of satisfying hammers.)

Gem shop stuff apparently, so I'm not that interested anymore. I could see a piece or two useful for mixing, but as a whole it's too garish.

Also good thing the unshattered wings look awful because there is no way I would grind out one hundred thousand pieces of candy. I don't even know how that's possible without a ton of money or botting.

    Edit: Maths.
Edit2:Or just buy them off the TP for 20 gold

I imagine it's something ANet wanted people to do over several years - not that it ever works out that way...

But yeah, I'm not a fan of those either.

Haha that's pretty much all of the armour skin sets in the Gem Store unfortunately.

Which is why you will buy the set as soon as you can?

As a light armour user I have grown to expect terrible-looking sets - either from the Gem Store or otherwise. However, I do dislike it when everyone is stuck with bad skins, especially when we're expected to pay gems for it.

Some of those pieces look pretty good, I think; the colours let them down in some screenshots.

I love the look of the jade weapon skins (but given the look, surely these should be drops in Canthan New Year, not in Lions Arch in the summer. I miss my favourite GW1 locations...), although hate the need to grind to get them. My response to this RNG is the same as always - if it drops, great, if not I wont use gold/gems to buy anything with RNG, so if it doesnt drop I will do without. I have bought and will continue to buy cosmetic/convenience/vanity items that dont have RNG attached with cash to gems to support the game, but skins/minis via gambling is not for me.

On the other hand, trying to decide whether to keep or sell the holographic wings I got as a drop yesterday...

    Maybe this will help: http://www.gw2spidy.com/item/43346

Also Dragon Bash is the successor to the Dragon Festival. The other Canthan holiday. It's totally appropriate.

Oooh and with some judicious use of a 50% bonus crafting doubrey I'd picked up plus our 15% one I nailed level 400 on my weaponsmith from 287 in c 40 mins and made myself a pearl berserker sword

Looks a bit pants so what should I tart it with? Jade dragon is ... hmmmm Fused looks quite gnarly though

Citadel of Flame has a hidden "Oppressive Ooze Royalty" event accessible from paths 1 and 3. I never knew about this!
