Thread: General nonsense

I doubt we're back on a two week cycle yet. Four weeks of this, then another gap, then some living story - that's my guess.
Apparently these festivals will have dialog that teases living story stuff, though.GW2: Saphnabylni & co.

You'd think that, Squirrel, and yet plenty of people on reddit are getting hyped about it. Of course, as you suggest, it'll be a couple of disappointing lines -- you'd have thought Anet would have learnt not to over-promise and under-deliver by now.GW2: Saphnabylni & co.

This one time... I hope you're not right Saph. *cue dramatic melody*
But yeah, people are desperate for interesting content by now.

Some people are bound to be hyped, especially those that picked up the game after they happened last year.
As for the rest... I'm not sure these two festivals are much reason for me to log in. I liked the Four Winds crystal hunt, but I've done it already... here's hoping they add to it.[GW2] The Blackfyre clan: Aliss (Guardian) Alyss (Mesmer) Lyss (Engineer) and others.

I enjoyed the duels in the pavilion and the crystal hunt for the bazaar, I wonder if they'll keep the mats sink merchants?Hawksbane | Ripley Hawkswind | Aconitum Hawkshood | Fuchsia Panthera

I was just thinking that if the pavillion is coming back, the price of watchwork sprockets will drop.
This might be the right time to craft more watchwork portals.

What do those portals do?Cybek - Asura - Mesmer -- Kybek - Human - Necro -- Ravbek the Char Ranger, (also, Soubek, Xybek, Feybek)

Possibly we'll also see a comeback of the Sovereign skins, so keep an eye out for those if you're into ... skins.

I hope so; that's the only skin set that I regret not having picked up.GW2: Saphnabylni & co.

Malawi - if you're on facebook have a brief look at the official gw2 group - the number of people who talk of non zerker builds n gear for pve is hilarious let alone what to bring to a dungeon. I might be minmaxing more so now but even when not I could see the benefits of certain builds and what not to cobble together...
Tis truly scary how so peoples minds work. Or don't.Monksbjornsson, a glass cannon of nordic origins and gleeful slaughterer of rabbits
Monksbane, gnarly bit of wood that rots, festers and gives you splinters of the nasty kind that really sting
Monksgaard, a squishy human guardian badly helping to keep you alive while running away

Yes, that sounds very enticing. Just what I needed.
On a completely unrelated note, I wanted to post this noble crusader: http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/c...the_toxic_pvp/
Look at me helping out new players and totally not acting like a twat, why do they not want to learn? ;_;

Yeah, he came across as fairly aloof and maybe even a little preachy when telling people what to do. Does it really take that much to put stuff in /T instead, or to add a smiley?
I honestly don't understand the reputation that the sPvP community have; I have played a load of team and solo queue recently and not one of the matches has involved a flame war. Sure, a team member may make a snide comment - but you just let it go.
