SW: Empire At War MP Status

Does anyone know how compatible SW: Empire At War (With expansion) is at the moment? I would love to get it again for multiplayer purposes..

Also, Ive bought it in the past, cant really seem to find my DVDs (and Im sure theyre lost to the ages somewhere), anyone know if the LAN play is tied into an authentication server?

Oh and last question: any good mods?

Not all at once. But Im guessing this game is either unloved, or simply dead.

Still want it for LAN goodness, though.

A friend of mine still plays it online, although I'm not sure how big the population is ATM.

DRM = fraudulent and exploitative scheme of selling a product while maintaining control of it.

Also, there is no need to pirate this. Steam sells it.

If you want me on either service, I suggest PMing me here first to let me know who you are.

Great game, still got my copy somewhere. One of the few SW games that made good use of the expanded universe.

no, I didnt say supremacy, because I think Empire At War is a nice "sequel" to it. Modders have pretty much added in every living thing and ship there is in the SW universe, so I dont feel like Im missing out on anything.
