To avoid spamming the general screenshot thread with GW2 related pictures, here's a thread dedicated for that purpose. Grab your camera and start taking some pictures! Everything (as long as it's game related) is welcome here.

Tips:

[Print Screen] = Takes a picture. (Can be rebound in the control options)
You can also bind a key for 3D pictures but I'm afraid only a minority can actually see those properly.

Have a look at the chat to see where the picture was saved. If you forgot, then screens are generally saved to:
[Windows 7] - C:\Users\*Your User Name*\Documents\Guild Wars 2\Screens

[Control]+ [Shift] + [H] = Hides the user interface.

Bind a key for Draw Weapon for some seriously cool shots.

Excellent idea for a thread. Unfortunately I keep forgetting to take pictures in-game, because it is often too stunning.

I thought I'd share a series of screenshots I took of what I think is the most spectacular vista I've seen so far in this game.

I've seen buildings created from giant cubes sunk into the ground, beautiful waterfalls, huge cities. Here though... here we have a hill, with some trees on it. Pretty bloody stunning, I think you'll agree.

(Seriously though, what am I missing here? It has to be more than just a hill with some tress on it.)

Yeah, I also found that hilariously underwhelming. Here, have a look at our very special lump of dirt. Taking it back from the enemy took the lives and souls of two generations of brave warriors. We are so damn proud of it.

My toons so far

Olydig, Asura warrior. The name means "disobedient" or "irreverent" in Swedish.


Methone Haumea, Sylvari mesmer. She's named after one of the moons of Saturn and the dwarf planet Haumea (their names in turn taken from Greek and Hawaiian mythology).

Noone told me about the hiding of displays at that level. So here are my 2 favorite low level sylvari screenshots. I just like the way i am standing here. Does not look too safe.

And this one is from a bugged event. You get mutated into a small moa to fight the huge, rowdy moa on 'equal terms'. But it would not aggress, so we wondered if it might require more people and asked in map.
