So much fire. I think this event took 5 corpse runs and half an hour of running away from fires to complete. Reminded me of doing world bosses way back then in vanilla WoW.
Good to see my character is already living up to her name.
Guild Wars 2: Cutthroat Dan / Bladehand Dan / Arcane Dan / Hypnotic Dan / Zealous Dan
A few nights ago, a bunch (6-7 players) of us had fun poking around WvWvW as a small crack team, taking out unorganised groups of Jade Sea & Aurora Glade (?) invaders/defenders, raiding Dolyak caravans, and laying siege to a castle or two. Here are some shots of that night.
The [RPS] team watching a fight between forces of our two enemy groups. The idea was to swoop down at the weakened victor of the battle. In the end, the not-so-weakened victor turned on us and we ran like chicken. Like really really cool chicken.
Wolfenswan and me on the lookout for enemy reinforcements while the rest of the team is having its way with the Castle's frontgate.
After having breached the outer walls, we continued to try our luck at the inner defenses. We managed to get the gate down to ~25% I think, when the enemy finally woke up and distpatched a larger group of extra defenders. Not a bad result for our side however, given that the whole event started as a spontaneous idea.

A hastily set up ballista was operated by a friendly collaborator (cheers mate!) to help with the gate breaching business. Also, Timofee's Warrior showing off his amazingly large gun.
In the end, we had to retreat to higher ground. But we will be back! So long, Harpylovers!

I like how it tracks where you've been, here was the map after our exciting kiting the boss tactic in the level 50 dungeon
Aww, it looks like the meet up was great fun. I was there only for a couple of photos at the start but I wish I could have stayed longer but I slinked off for a quick dinner before attempting the Catacombs later that evening.
Too many people to render!
