What's Tier 1?
Tier 1 (formerly known as MARSOC) is an ArmA2 community. When the Folk sessions began, Tier 1 helped us in many ways, and we even share a comrade: Tigershark. Tier 1 plays with ACE2/ACRE and conducts training sessions during the week, but it's not a MilSim community - they're just organised.
What are the people at Tier 1 like?
Nice. We've had joint sessions with them in the past - including ones where we have fought on the same side against other communities.
When is it?
19:20 UK (20:20 CET) on Sunday 16 September, 2012 (normal Folk session time).
Does this replace the regular Folk session?
Yes. Everyone from Folk and ARPS is invited.
Which OA server will we use?
The Folk ArmA2: Combined Operations server.
What kind of missions will we be playing?
A mixture of coop and adversarial missions, plus at least one of our new aiXX type missions (Wideola).
Which TeamSpeak 3 server will we use?
The Folk one (again, as normal).
Okay, sounds good. What do you need me to do?
Hopefully, you don't need to do anything except come along and make some new friends (whilst dying horribly, of course). If you haven't already done so, please ensure you have configured your TeamSpeak so that you can use Channel Commander appropriately - it does not matter if you plan to avoid command positions, because battlefield promotions are guaranteed.
Is anyone expected to survive?
Why do people always ask this question?
