Great, look forward to seeing you!

I phoned the pub to double check we've got space booked, and we're all good by the sound of things. So yay!

What's the usual turnout for these things? Looking for any and all excuses to justify the train fare.

  5. #485
From my really limited experience, there's quite a big turnout normally

    Wotcher folks!

I'm moving to the north of the UK some time in September and debating whether to get the train down to London for the Eurogamer Expo, which is on in late September (25-28, I think). Part of this will depend on how well I've got real life squared away during/after the move, but it seems a reasonable goal at the moment.

If any RPS folk are definitely going (on a day other than the Saturday, which is already booked up), or have been and want to tell me how good it is, or if we could organise a London meet around then, that would be great!

    Cheers,
    P.

There is usually plenty of opportunities for meeting up with people. RPS usually seem to either organise or co-organise pub meet-ups for everyone to go to. Not sure if they'll be planning the same this year.

As for the regular RPS Social, its on again this Saturday, the 26th. It looks like it'll be nice weather. Would anyone fancy meeting in a park before going to the pub, for park based hijinks?

Will be coming along for the first time in awhile. Will probably bring along the Minigame Library and maybe something else.

Would've loved to do park stuff, but ironically need to walk the dog will prevent me from doing so!

One day I'll join you guys, but currently Brussels-London is a bit too expensive for me for a couple of drinks.

    Have a nice evening !

Maybe I should try to organize such an event in Brussels but I don't think I would enough people here.

Yeah, I might be up for something like that. First weekend in ages where I don't feel like I have too much to do (just too much I should do).

Sounds like good enough an idea to me. Not getting much work done anyway.

EDIT: As always bringing along King of Tokyo, and whatever else quick and simple will fit into the big backpack.

Don't know why you sit and make fun,
'cause my rhyming plans were second to none,

On reflection, took introspection on your interjected objections,
responses like infections, took root, overcome your inspections,
which like rain falls, like the train falls, but as with the insane brain's calls,
the plan stalls, a man falls,
to a score insurmountable, worth points uncountable, don't hold me acountable.
