Pirate_PL is is missing an underscore in the spreadsheet. Nobody else is going to be challenging him but still might be worth correcting

    Okay, I've challenged
    cimethink in 620193 and 620194
    DeVadder
    in 620195 and 620197.
All games have all 3 mutators turned on, for shits'n'giggles. I haven't taken my turns yet because I'm doing this via VNC and the last time I tried to play an actual game that way I mucked up royally. I know I said to take your turns right away. Do as I say, not as I do :p

A note for anyone who hasn't got the Red DLC: to tell if a match has mutators active look in the box with the players names for a little "radioactive" icon next to the chat icon, like this:

If it's there, click it to see a description of the active ones.

Also, in case anyone isn't sure (I only found out by accident a few weeks ago): if you see red squares in your starting corners, those are capture points and you can win the match by reaching your opponent's. When you're generating your maps, if you get a map with capture points you can play it if you like or skip on until you find one you like better.

rodeo, our current game is only five turns.

edit - and now I see that is what Col posted to make them. Is this correct? I thought they were eight turns before.

I thought it should be 8 turns too - I didn't do anything to change it, just went with the default.
I'm happy to pick a different set and play to 8

Extermination is usually 8 turns - I thought I'd changed everything in the rules post that needed changed. Sorry about that, altering the rules has just confused me a little. And I've done exactly the same, all my games are 5 turns. It looks like the "Generate Extermination" button doesn't set the number of turns the same way the other modes do. That's a pain.

Never mind, let's just pretend I meant to do that all along. 5 turns it is this season - that should help us get through all our matches fairly quickly! And if anyone has issued challenges with 8 turns, go ahead and play them out. As long as both your matches against any given opponent are the same length it should be okay. Next time round I'll be more careful.

Shouldn't there be "4 men per player" ?

Right, for some reason I misremembered it, but the game was correctly setup with 4 men.

The first points are on the board, and the first videos are up in the usual place.

5 turn matches are very short, aren't they? Whose idea was that, anyway? ;p

I'm happy to re-issue after 5 turns if the games feel waaay too short (I'd definitely play differently in a shorter match I knew I was playing)

Well, that's odd. I got a second kill in the video uploaded to youtube, however, the game never registered this. As i posted before, our game ended 1-1 in kills, not 2-1.

Is there any explanation to this?

The second kill happened just after the final whistle, the score it shows at the end is still zero. See? If I hadn't cocked up and called for shorter than normal matches it would have counted.

Yeah, our first game ended rather suddenly on me. It was a 1:1 draw, for those keeping score. Not sure the game number, the lower numbered one I think.
