It was unfortunate that Cyanide decided to not save my updated roster the first time.

PD managed to leverage his team skills and toughness (and strength - his team average str was higher than my own even at the start!) to good effect, winning the cup. It might have gone down differently if Daave hadn't killed my Kroxigor last match :(

I had one really good chance to win despite being several players down, but buggered it up. Should have just hucked the ball downfield instead of trying for a short pass to a skink (and having the ball scatter back to the feet of the thrower).

Still, second place isn't too bad I guess.

I asked Daave that question a while ago (in the context of, "what should I do with my Dark Elves now they're out of the cup?"). He indicated then that if or when a second cup comes around, it would be fresh teams again.

I would like a second cup, and again my thanks regarding the organization - very good job!

I don't think Cyanide supports this, but a double-elimination would be utterly rad. Rat. Get it?

Well I enjoyed meeting some new players and making our lovely BB community that much bigger. I want to have a lull before starting another cup so PD can rest on his laurels for a while (a month or two), and I'm only going to do it if I can get 64+ players to sign up. At some point I will make a fresh new spreadsheet page for everyone to sign up on.

It was pleasing to get to the semi-finals of my own cup (although obviously I wanted an all-Undead final :)), my luck finally turned but it appears the Undead had the last laugh, with PD able to beat up the Nullkigan's lizards due to a dead Kroxigor. Well done to PD and also to Nullkigan who proved that the seeds were worth a damn!

It will be starting teams again, but there will be exceptions (such as ntw's Halfings) obviously if you try to sneak a 1200TV team with a few MNGs in I'm going to be annoyed, but I'll judge each team that applies on it's own merits. Although I would recommend using starting teams. Also seeds will be based on performance in the previous cup and I'd be much obliged if PresW (and maybe someone else) would volunteer for admin duties for the first few rounds of the cup.

Also I demand a 3rd place play-off ChainsawHands!

Also I'm looking forward to going 0-0-3 in July DoD and get eliminated in the Ro64 next cup now that I have laurels to rest on.
