Saw them a coupla years back and they were great fun!
Never liked them, mostly because because i grew up with the more metal and d-beat heavy crustpunk ala Tragedy, Assück and From Ashes Rise.

And yes, some of the interviewed are middle class kids who took their crimethink a tad to seriously and others like their opium. But it's about their stories and not some identitary bullshit ala punk or not.

It doesn't change the fact that it's crap. Yes, everybody's got his own musical preferences, but lets be objective. This music is just horrible, how can anyone with good musical taste like this.
No, you think it is crap. Taste is subjective. I for one don't like death metal. That doesn't mean its crap.
People have different music tastes, if you don't like it, don't listen to it and move on.

Suuuuuuuuure lot's of (Neo-, Melodic-, Whatever-)Crust and D-Beat may sound boring and same-y to bystanders but that's the same for every genre.

It's all subjective and that but here you're just wrong. Very wrong.
For one thing, without crust we wouldn't have Neurosis and that's a world I don't want to know about.
