I have to thank Helio for the win, of course. It wasn't easy to stay alive with a 2 Charisma build, though.

No, I was playing a heavily praetor-focused build. But an acute lack of ichor in the early game + some of the best combat praetors appearing early in the bazaar kind of ruined my game. By the time I could have caught up Helio was already ruling the roost with his praetor, and I got schooled by Tikey in a disastrous vendetta. So I turned to you instead. :-) If it wasn't clear already btw Helio, I was playing 'double' by actually doing the blood vassal plan I proposed to you with Lyesmith while using you to take some of my territory at the same time (and of course, blowing up the Palace).
Yeah, blowing up the palace had a huge impact on the flow of events, Ho hum.
