Yeah i believe so. but.........I don't know whether that is a good thing or bad thing really for mp. It's probably bad thing.
Nobody's gonna ever challenge you unless they have a really buffed praetor themselves and think they have a chance which isn't likely i guess.
Secondly they can all see exactly what your praetor stats/special moves/etc etc are at any time so you have zero element of surprise ever once you are champion! While they do.
Would have been better if u got a random relic or artifact or something for actually becoming champion of pandemonium IMO.

No! The champion should be a prestige tap like a pop, but something like +2 and you get 1 turn warning on challengers or +4 but you get no warning.

That would work too. Even +1 prestige per turn for having the champion would work.
As it is when i beat balrog in an ai game it gave me for 16 prestige for doing it and said i was the champion now and that was pretty much it :( I dont see that beating the last champion (balrog) gives u anything but the prestige + 1 extra level for your praetor as it is right now. Obviously the extra level helps your praetor from being banished/stolen but it was a bit disappointing really.
Besides the extra level and prestige i think it really has more downsides than upsides!

Or perhaps instead if you became champ of pandemonium your praetor is immune to banish/pcb but you can no longer stick him on a legion/pop or something, that might be a little overpowered though.

Dunno , but i do know you dont really get anything much for doing it right now!
